Virtual inheritance tax & London property market workshop

Hi it's Danny Valencia here with My CIty Nest powered by Keller Williams. And today I'm here to invite you to an up and coming inheritance tax workshop taking place on the 29th of April at 7:00 PM

A lot of landlords and a lot of homeowners and now more than ever, we're getting a lot of concerns about whether they have the right structure in place to ensure that their family is protected, their assets are protected when they're long gone. So one of the things, or three things that you should come away with, uh, the workshop is how to minimize your inheritance tax liabilities. Protect your family, protect your assets, and just make sure that your family can come away with the most of your hard earned wealth. So the way the workshop is going to be broken down, it's going to be in two parts. So the first part is going to be myself sharing what the status of the property market is at the moment, what it means for the lettings industry in terms of COVID 19 and what property values are doing at the moment in London.

We're going to be joined by Jonathan who is an excellent financial advisor, and he's been supporting our clients for a number of years. And he's going to be looking at four main factors.

So, the first one is that he's going to be looking at how to mitigate any potential liability by using your rental income to work in your favor. Secondly, he's going to be looking at gifting property and what to consider before gifting.

Further he's going to be look at the structure of holding your properties, whether it's one property or a dozen properties, and make sure it's there to protect your family and generations to come from inheritance tax. And lastly he's going to be looking at the benefits of having a well-written will and the consequences of not doing so. So, at the end of the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions and we're going to have a series of workshop coming for the next few, few weeks and months.
